Mobility Scooter & Wheelchair Rentals in Dover, NH

Dover is one of the oldest settlements in New Hampshire, and these days it is a busy little city with a downtown that has really come back to life. The old Cocheco mill buildings along the river now hold shops, restaurants and the Children's Museum of New Hampshire, and the sidewalks fill up for First Fridays, farmers markets and the holiday stroll. All of that is wonderful to be part of, right up until a long afternoon of walking on brick and pavement starts to catch up with your knees, hips or lungs.

That is where we come in. Whether you are visiting grandchildren, coming into town for an event, or you live in Dover and just want more range on a good day, Oceans Mobility can deliver the right scooter or wheelchair and bring it straight to you.

What works well in downtown Dover

For a day of shops, the museum and the waterfront, a travel mobility scooter is easy to steer on a busy sidewalk and simple to load back into the car between stops. If you mostly need help covering distance and you will have someone with you, a lightweight transport wheelchair folds flat and lifts into any trunk in seconds. And for anyone who can walk but needs to sit down often, a rollator with a built-in seat gives you support and a rest whenever you want one.

Family visits and the Children's Museum

A lot of our Dover calls are from families hosting an older relative. Keeping Grandma or Grandpa with the group through a morning at the Children's Museum and lunch downtown is so much easier when they are not trying to pace a whole afternoon on foot. A scooter or chair lets them stay in the middle of the day instead of waiting it out on a bench. If a UNH visit in nearby Durham or a Seacoast beach day is also on the schedule, we can set you up for the whole trip.
